At Chabad we conduct services in a warm and casual atmosphere. Several of those who attend our services do not read Hebrew, but with our English prayer books everyone feels at home. The prayers are sincere and inspiring, enhanced by the special spirit of joy and song. The Rabbi's talks are uplifting, engaging and inspiring. Always with a moment to broaden one's horizons and reflect.
There is no membership charge to come to Chabad. Feel free to come as often as you'd like. You're already a member. We all are.
Walking into our service the first thing you will notice is those in attendance. There are Jews from all walks of life, from all backgrounds, affiliations and ages. You will see smiles, hugs and warm handshakes as people greet each other in a uniquely intimate and relaxed setting. At every service you will find adults, Northwestern students, singles, seniors, professors and entrepreneurs. People come to our shul because of the sense of community and Jewish warmth they feel here.
Kiddush Luncheon An important part of our community is our monthly Kiddush that follows the Shabbat morning services, where friendships are created and nurtured, and we celebrate each other's happy occasions and anniversaries.
Participate! Please allow yourself the opportunity to visit and participate. In no way is the commitment to a religious lifestyle a prerequisite to one's acceptance at Chabad. There are no judgments and expectations.
Come get a taste of what it is like at Chabad. Your soul will thank you.
